a global affair... in the heart of the city.  a summer celebration at the J.K. Gardiner Museum.

Kara of Belle Fleur introduced me to the sweetest couple planning their canadian "destination" wedding from their home in germany (one of my favourite travel destinations).  with friends/family flying in from various cities around the globe... I suggested a vintage travel theme which we incorporated into their custom photobooth (which you can see by clicking here), as well as their day-of stationary by the fabulous Christine of Love the Design.

this past new year's eve, i was honoured and humbled to capture the intimate/honest/whole-hearted moments of Natasha & Jesse's wedding at St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto.  these two sweet gorgeous people found love on a blind date in 2006.  not long after ... jesse moved across the ocean to pursue his studies at oxford.  a long distant love-affair ensued for two years, until jesse planned a private screening for two at a local cinema in toronto where he screened a movie he made for natasha in an effort to convince her to marry him.  after a resounding YES... wedding plans began.  

the talented wedding planner Melissa Andre helped these two lovelies plan their wedding from Kenya (where they now reside) along with Natasha's aunt who did the beautiful florals.  

jesse first laid eyes on natasha in all her wedding finery, as she descended in the vintage elevator located in the building where my studio is located.  as it was a winter wedding we used my studio for many of the photos that day.
