like being a kid again... quinn's family have operated quarries around the province of ontario for three generations... emily & I were smiling ear to ear as we explored this magical quarry in niagara last week. it truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be standing at the edge of the giant cliffs carved out by explosives. a wee bit scary but mostly exhilarating.  

very close by is Vineland Estates, a southern ontario winery, on land once owned by Quinn's grandfather... the history and connection to the land made for a truly meaningful exploration.

the laughter and intimacy between these two is infectious.

anyone who knows me, knows that someday i will drive a vintage car... someday.  

sophie's dad was showing us around his farm last week... and i noticed a car all covered up... and asked, ever so nicely... "ummm.... what's under there?"

a red Alpha Romeo.

turns out, tim, sophie's beaux, collects vintage cars.  so it was only right to include this thing of beauty into their pre-wedding photo session.

oh yes, sophie's dad also has a beautiful collection of pigeons.  like doves, they were.
